Agriculture feeds Sri Lanka and employs a huge share of it — yet most fields are still managed on instinct, because the tools that measure soil, water and climate are imported, expensive, and designed for farms nothing like ours.
Hardware built for temperate mega-farms struggles here: tropical heat, monsoon humidity, patchy connectivity and power cuts break equipment that was never engineered for these conditions — and its price puts it out of reach of the smallholders who grow most of the country's food.
We think the fix is engineering that starts here: affordable, repairable, open technology designed around local crops, local weather and local budgets.

In researchThis isn't a cold start. Our EdgeLLM library already runs AI on the same class of microcontrollers that field sensors use, and our 3D-printing division prototypes the weatherproof enclosures and mounts in-house, in days rather than shipping cycles.
Like everything we make, the agri-tech stack will be published in the open — auditable, extensible and repairable. Follow the work on GitHub or track the milestone on our roadmap.
The division is planned for 2026 and is currently in active research and prototyping. Progress is tracked on our public roadmap, and the waitlist is the first to hear when field pilots open.
