Eonix Pvt Ltd (“Eonix”, “we”, “our”) is committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the rights you have under applicable law — including the Sri Lanka Personal Data Protection Act No. 9 of 2022 (“PDPA”).
This Policy applies to information collected through the Eonix website at eonix.lk and any communications you have with us.

3. Information We Collect
This Site is an informational website. We do not operate user accounts or process payments on it.
We may collect limited personal data in the following ways:
- Contact enquiries: If you email us at hello@eonix.lk or use the contact form on this Site, we collect your name, email address, the area you are interested in, and the content of your message in order to respond to you.
- Waitlist signups: If you join the Agri-Tech waitlist, we collect your email address in order to notify you at launch.
- Website analytics:We use Google Analytics to understand how the Site is used in aggregate — see the “Cookies & Analytics” section below.
- Hosting provider logs: Our hosting platform may automatically collect standard server log data (IP address, browser type, referring URL, pages visited, date and time of access). This data is retained for security and operational purposes only.
We do not knowingly collect personal data from individuals under the age of 16.
4. Cookies & Analytics
This Site uses Google Analytics 4, a web analytics service provided by Google LLC, to help us understand how visitors use the Site — for example which pages are viewed, how visitors arrive, and the general region they visit from.
Google Analytics collects, via first-party cookies and similar identifiers:
- Pages visited, time on page, and navigation between pages.
- Device and browser information (type, operating system, screen size, language).
- Approximate location (city/country level) derived from your IP address. Google Analytics 4 does not log or store individual IP addresses.
- Interaction events, such as submitting the contact form or joining a waitlist. The contents of what you submit are never sent to Google Analytics.
When you first visit the Site, a consent banner asks whether to allow analytics cookies. Analytics stays off unless you accept, and you can change your choice at any time via “Cookie preferences” in the site footer.
We use this information in aggregate only, to improve the Site and understand interest in our services. You can also opt out of Google Analytics by blocking cookies in your browser settings or by installing Google's opt-out browser add-on. 5. How We Use Your Information
We use personal data only for the purposes for which it was collected:
- To respond to contact enquiries and business communications.
- To maintain the security and performance of our website.
- To comply with our legal obligations under Sri Lankan law.

- Right to object — to object to processing based on legitimate interests.
- Right to withdraw consent — where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing.

8. Data Retention
We retain personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purpose for which it was collected or as required by law:
- Contact enquiry emails are retained for up to 24 months from last correspondence, then deleted.
- Server access logs are retained for up to 90 days by our hosting provider.
- Google Analytics event-level data is retained for up to 14 months, then automatically deleted by Google.
9. Third-Party Services
This Site uses Google Analytics as described in the “Cookies & Analytics” section above, and may link to third-party services including our EonixFab store at eonixfab.com and our GitHub organisation. Each of these services has its own privacy policy. We encourage you to review them. Eonix is not responsible for the data practices of third-party sites.
10. Security
We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against unauthorised access, loss, or destruction. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security but are committed to handling your data responsibly.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or in applicable law. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page will be revised accordingly. We encourage you to review this Policy periodically.
